Leadership Care Team

Melissa Therrien

Executive Director

Melissa began her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse and during a practicum at a long-term care home, found her calling to be a part of the change for quality senior care options. Melissa went back to school to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, became a Registered Nurse and worked in various roles, most recently as the Regional Director of Wellness for a portfolio of senior living homes in Western Canada.  Melissa’s passion for mentorship, education and providing quality care for seniors is what drives her to be continuously learning and challenging the status quo.

In her spare time, Melissa enjoys camping, hiking and spending time on the beach with her husband, 2 children and the family dog.

Bill Krebs

Environmental Services Manager

Bill has over 30 years of construction and restoration experience and brings a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude to his role as the Environmental Services Manager for Trillium Communities long-term care homes in Victoria. Bill enjoys caring for the residents and working with his fellow employees to ensure that the residents are comfortable and safe and live a carefree happy life while in our care.

Bill has two grown children, a son and a daughter, that he is very proud of. When not at work, Bill can be found on his boat fishing the seas around the Cowichan Bay area. Fun Fact: Bill lives on his boat!

“One of the hardest decisions for our family was moving our dad into a home after our mom passed away. But the staff made it so much easier for us, knowing he is in capable hands.”
