  • What types of care does Trillium Communities specialize in?

    Trillium offers a full range of housing and care options that include Independent Living, Assisted Living, Long Term Care and Short-Terms Stays.

    The integration of these services at Trillium Care creates a community where seniors changing housing and care needs are met in the most appropriate setting. Within a Trillium Care Community, seniors are better positioned when the need for transfer to a higher level of care is identified.

  • What is included in rent?

    In addition to a private room with ensuite, rent includes 24-hour nursing care, bathing twice per week (or more frequently, if needed), three daily meals plus snacks, personal daily laundry service and housekeeping (housekeeping includes a light daily clean and a thorough weekly clean). In addition, activities and groups, exercise, entertainment, music therapy, pet therapy and physician care are included.

    There are a number of optional services not included in rent but available upon request.

  • Are cable and phone service included in rent?

    We’ve partnered with local organizations to provide affordable cable and phone packages to residents.

  • Can you provide a doctor for our loved one?

    Yes, we have physicians at all of our homes that specialize in gerontology. If your loved one does not have a physician upon admission, or if their physician does not make house calls, our in-house physicians accept new patients.

  • Can you provide additional nursing care for our loved one?

    We can help coordinate companion service if your loved one requires it; however, all necessary nursing care is provided from our qualified, caring in-house staff.

  • Are laundry services available?

    Yes, laundry facilities are available at all Trillium homes, and our staff provide personal daily laundry services.

  • Are alterations and mending available?

    Yes, alterations and mending are offered via partnerships with local businesses.

  • Are additional services available?

    We’re proud to provide various services to our residents, plus a number of partnership services at an additional cost, including:

  • Are pets allowed?

    Yes! We believe pets play an integral role in the health and happiness of our residents. We are proud to offer pet therapy to residents who don’t own their own pet.

  • Are visiting hours limited?

    No. We are proud to provide an open-door policy. Family, friends and other visitors can come and go as they please.

  • Is parking available for visitors?

    Parking is available at all of our homes. You can park in reserved stalls on the street or in parking lots or driveways at no charge.

  • Can visitors dine with their loved one?

    Yes. Depending on the home and your preference, we can set up a private dining area for you and your loved one, seat you in the dining room or set up tray service in your loved one’s room for a more private dining experience.

  • Are guest suites available for visitors?

    We have guest suites at our Independent Living homes. Contact us today to arrange your or your guests’ stay.

    Our Assisted Living and Long Term Care communities don’t have guest suites in-house; however, we’ve partnered with the Best Western and Sandman Hotels to offer you a friends-and-family rate during your stay. Please contact the hotels directly and reference ‘Trillium’ for your discounted rate.
