Twila Thomson

Executive Director

In her various roles as Associate General Manager, Community Operations Manager and Memory Care Coordinator, Twila has honed her ability to connect with residents who have cognitive decline and support the families who love them. 

Twila received the People Development Award for her work in developing future leaders and she herself was recognized as an Emerging Leader in the field of seniors care. 

Having been part of a new seniors long term care development, Twila is skilled at building and supporting high-performing teams.  Born and raised in Victoria, in her spare time Twila enjoys travelling, music and baking.

 

Arman Tesoro

Support Services Manager

Arman has worked in the hospitality industry for over 35 years, honing his craft through experience and education.

Over the years, he has held management and director-level positions and his team-centred leadership approach has supported various hospitality lines including long term care and assisted living, residential schools and universities, casual restaurants and formal dining rooms, special outdoor events, and vending services.

Arman joined the Trillium Communities family at St Charles Manor in July 2020, bringing his varied skill set, customer focus and team spirit.

 

 

Michelle Nam

Administrative Coordinator

Michelle brings a strong background of administration management to her role as the Administrative Coordinator at St. Charles Manor.

She completed the hotel management program in Toronto and, after many years in the hospitality industry, Michelle transitioned to the field of long-term care in 2016. Michelle moved to Victoria, from Toronto, where she has worked in various positions in the long-term care field before joining Trillium in 2020.
