Monday to Sunday: 0530h to 1330h/ 0900h to 1700h/ 0930h to 1730h

Wage: $28.48 per hour

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Completion of Culinary Arts Program
• Commercial cook training preferred
• Red Seal Journeyman Chef certification (Preferred)
• Relevant experience in an institutional dining service setting
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are an asset
• Strong attention to detail and a flair for food presentation
• Ability to work with empathy and patience in a setting that serves elderly individuals

Shifts: Thursday-Sunday 10:30 pm to 6:30 am

Wage: Starting $32.84 per hour (Rate depending on experience plus shift differentials)

QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from a recognized program for Licensed Practical Nurses
Current practice registration with BCCNM without restrictions.
Previous experience in a residential care setting preferred.

Walking distance to Victoria’s beloved Beacon Hill Park and Dallas Road’s extensive walking trails, Douglas Care is a 28 bed property enveloped in picturesque gardens with landscape and seascape views

Nestled in Nature
With 43 spacious suites designed for Long Term Care and Short-Term Stays, Woodgrove Manor is an intimate and centrally located community in the harbour city of Nanaimo, BC. Surrounded by stately trees, lush gardens and groomed paths, Woodgrove Manor invites residents to enjoy the outdoors and make the most of its scenic West Coast setting.

Non-verbal, uses a special wheelchair, and needs assistance in all aspects of daily living such as personal hygiene, PEG feeding, medication administration, and community outings. Family is very involved, and outings require use of a van modified for wheelchair access (van provided by family).

Pay: CA$32.84 – CA$41.35 per hour

Shift hours: 0700 – 1600

Schedule: Alternates between Thursday to Sunday one week and Friday to Sunday the next
This setting is in Nanaimo with supportive staff and a family-focused environment.
